Current Gym Challenge

Back To Reality Challenge

August 19 - Sept 20, 2019

This Challenge is all about you and your goals. First thing you need to do SET GOALS!!

Start with something you can do every day - examples drink more water or add another vegetable at dinner.

Second have a goal you can achieve in 4-6 weeks - examples losing 8 pounds or moving up on weight for all strength exercises.

Third have a long term goal something you want to achieve in 6-8 months - examples running a full marathon or being physically fit when your grandchild is born.

Dedication is a big part of this challenge. You will be held accountable! Every week you will receive points for workouts, eating healthy and getting 8,000 steps a day.

Giving back!! At Shannon’s Gym we give back to the community and outreach programs. Once again we will be collecting chapstick for children in Peru. Also, Shannon’s Gym bags will be $5 all proceeds go to Taylor White Scholarship.

Athletes Highlight

September Athlete Highlight:

Jayce Brehe

A superior soccer athlete since the age of 5, Jayce has spent his recent years on the field playing for Rush Pikes Peak at center midfield. Aspiring to play in Mexico someday, he put his work ethic to the test day after day. Early morning were conditioning on the soccer field, lifting after school and then back to soccer practices at night. Being a well-rounded athlete was important too. At Rampart High School he held a 4.0 GPA taking several AP classes. Jayce volunteers at soccer camps outside of his normal schedule to help young kids spread his love of  the game and cultivate a future of sportsmanship and future aspiring soccer stars.This summer, hard work took fruition and Jayce received the call of his lifetime. The Venados Football Club in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico wanted him to play for them. On August 16th, Jayce left for Mexico to play soccer and attend school. We wish Jayce the best of luck in Mexico!!
